ChatGPT and Codex usage limits merging is an OpenAI help-center notice. From December, the Plus, Pro and Business plans share one usage allowance across ChatGPT and Codex, measured in tokens. Use depends on the model and the task, and instant chat does not count. Users see combined usage in Settings → Usage and can wait, upgrade or buy credits at the limit.
