Social post announcing Qwen's open-weights release of Qwen-Image-2.1-Turbo, an accelerated checkpoint of Qwen-Image-2.1 on the same 7B visual generation architecture. It generates and edits images in 8 denoising steps, against 40 in the base model's sample code, with 2K output. Qwen claims the fewer steps do not reduce quality. The license is non-commercial, which limits production use.
