Broadcast and Trace from Lattices: Collusion-Resistant and Publicly Traceable
Broadcast and Trace from Lattices is a 2026 ePrint preprint by Jeffrey Champion. It builds collusion-resistant broadcast and trace with public tracing from attribute-based encryption with succinct ciphertexts and lockable obfuscation, both known from decomposed LWE. Ciphertexts are sqrt(N)·poly(λ, log N) in size, with poly(λ, log N) keys. It is the first such scheme based on a simple, instance-independent lattice assumption.
TL;DR Constructs publicly traceable, collusion-resistant broadcast and trace from decomposed LWE using nested lockable obfuscation.
