Ratio-Based Ring Oscillator PUF Statistical Model
Ratio-Based Ring Oscillator PUF Statistical Model is a closed-form model of the counter value distribution of ratio-based ring oscillator PUFs. Its assumptions are validated on a dataset of 218 Xilinx Artix-7 FPGAs and used to quantify response entropy. It enables Equiprobable Quantization and Two-Metric Helper Data schemes, which give better reliability, randomness and bit yield than counter-based derivation. Accepted at CASCADE 2027.
TL;DR Derives a closed-form statistical model for ratio-based ring oscillator PUFs and shows better bit derivation methods on 218 Artix-7 FPGAs.
