Grafana MCP server-side request forgery via X-Grafana-URL header (grafana_api_request) | Grafana Labs

Grafana advisory for CVE-2026-19516, a critical (CVSS 9.1) SSRF in mcp-grafana. A caller able to invoke the grafana_api_request tool can set the X-Grafana-URL header to redirect outbound requests, choosing method, path and body, to internal, loopback and link-local services including cloud metadata endpoints, and read the responses. The earlier fix for CVE-2026-15583 only stopped the service-account token leaking to other destinations and did not restrict the destinations; the fix is in version 1.1.0 and later.
