Post-Quantum Dropout-Resilient Verifiable Secure Aggregation for Federated Learning

PQ-DVSA is a verifiable secure aggregation protocol for federated learning that aims to be post-quantum secure, tolerate client dropouts, let clients verify a server's aggregation result, and resist bounded collusion between the server and clients, while also protecting the aggregation weights, not just model updates. The authors report learning performance comparable to exact weighted aggregation and up to 96 percent lower per-client encrypted-submission runtime than SWAS, the closest prior scheme.

TL;DR A post-quantum, dropout-tolerant, verifiable secure-aggregation protocol for federated learning that beats the SWAS scheme on client-side encryption runtime.
