Registered Functional Encryption with Certified Everlasting Security
Registered functional encryption with certified everlasting deletion (RFE-CED) combines user-registered public keys and transparent key aggregation with classical certificates that a ciphertext was information-theoretically destroyed. The paper defines two security notions, everlasting privacy and post-verification indistinguishability. Its slotted construction uses public-slot registered functional encryption, pseudorandom authenticated BB84 encodings and an interactive certified everlasting lemma. Accepted at Indocrypt 2026.
TL;DR Defines and constructs registered functional encryption whose ciphertexts can be provably deleted, using public-slot RFE and authenticated BB84 encodings.
