Intelligence Cyber Digest

A Twitter thread reports that ZDI's Pwn2Own Berlin 2026 rejected dozens of working zero-day RCE submissions for the first time in 19 years due to running out of contest slots, prompting researchers to publicly disclose their exploit chains instead. Named cases include a researcher with 86 vulnerabilities across PyTorch, NVIDIA, Linux KVM, Oracle, Docker, Ollama, Chroma, LiteLLM, and llama.cpp now reporting directly to vendors, a full-chain Firefox RCE on Windows publicly demoed after rejection, a Claude Code RCE PoC, and 0-day RCEs in Ollama and LM Studio. The event still runs May 14-16, 2026 in Berlin with an estimated 150+ researchers having tried to register.

TL;DR Pwn2Own Berlin 2026 ran out of slots and rejected dozens of working 0-day RCE submissions, triggering researchers to go public with PoCs and direct vendor disclosures instead.
