CVE-2026-98432 is a use-after-free in the Linux IPv4 TCP handshake, rated CVSS 3.1 9.8 and reachable by a remote unauthenticated peer on kernels back to 4.4. CVE-2026-111585 (CVSS 8.8) is an integer overflow in the remote-control screen processing of TeamViewer clients on Windows, macOS, Linux and Android. A malicious or compromised host can announce an oversized screen surface (for example 32768 by 32768 at 32 bpp), forcing a software decode path and an out-of-bounds write that crashes the viewer or runs code. Remedio's research shows a pointer overwrite routed to WinExec. Version 15.83 fixes it, along with CVE-2026-92372, CVE-2026-92374 and six local privilege escalation bugs.

CVE-2026-98432 is a use-after-free in the Linux kernel IPv4 TCP handshake path: a request socket's ireq_opt pointer moves to the child socket as inet_opt and is freed with kfree() while a retransmitted-SYN CPU still reads it under RCU. The fix (commit e3f33b0a1d89) uses kfree_rcu(). VirusTotal sizes the internet-facing PHP footprint around CVE-2026-109618 and CVE-2026-109619 (CVSS v4.0 9.2, session.upload_progress) using Internet Scanning. About 5.1M IPs run PHP, roughly 4 in 5 hide their version, and ~758K disclose an end-of-life branch. It gives queries that use the SSH banner to match leaked LiteSpeed lsphp 8.2.34 builds, plus mitigations.

PHP2Shell is the informal name for CVE-2026-109618 and CVE-2026-109619 (CVSS v4.0 9.2), unauthenticated remote code execution flaws in the PHP core runtime. Patches for branches 8.2 to 8.5 were scheduled for 21 October at 14:00 UTC, while PHP 8.1 and older get no fix; about 884,000 internet-facing hosts run those versions. watchTowr reproduced CVE-2026-109618, no public PoC existed at writing, and Sansec expects mass exploitation within 15 minutes of release.
PHP2Shell is Wiz Research's disclosure of memory-safety bugs in core PHP, grouped under two CVEs (up to CVSS 9.2) and fixed in patched releases on 21 October 2026. The post details four bugs, all triggered by out-of-memory fatal errors that leave stale state: an upload-progress unserializer use-after-free, a session-ID memory disclosure, a fatal-error backtrace use-after-free and an OPcache type confusion. It describes unauthenticated RCE on WordPress, Drupal and Joomla, plus detection signals and a disclosure timeline.
