- Bunny CDN Security Incident
Bunny CDN status-page notice, posted 28 October 2026, about unauthorized access at an infrastructure provider that hosted one bunny.net CDN node in Armenia. Traffic was stopped within 20 minutes and the server wiped. No access to the node was found, but cached content, Pull Zone configs and TLS certificates could have been exposed, so all platform certificates were reissued. Customers with their own certificates should rotate them with new private keys.

UI-TARS-desktop MCP Server: Critical Unauthenticated RCECVE-2026-81735 is a CVSS 10 unauthenticated RCE in the mcp-http-server package used by UI-TARS-desktop. The Streamable HTTP/SSE transport defaulted to binding on '::' with no authentication middleware applied by the @agent-infra/mcp-server-commands and @agent-infra/mcp-server-filesystem entry points, so any network client could invoke the exposed run_command tool (which pipes input straight into child_process.exec) for arbitrary command execution, or use the filesystem tool for unauthenticated arbitrary file read/write. The verifier blocks the literal reserved token "telegram" but not path separators, so a token like "../fast-mcp-telegram/telegram" lets a remote HTTP client authenticate as the default legacy session, bypassing the control meant to keep multi-user HTTP sessions from colliding with the default stdio/legacy account. Account-prefixed MCP tool naming does not prevent the bypass since prefixed tools for the compromised default account remain accessible.

Orca Security: Critical Pre-Auth RCE in ChromaDB Threatens AI InfrastructureCVE-2026-45829 (CVSS 10.0) is a pre-authentication remote code execution flaw in ChromaDB's Python FastAPI server, versions 1.0.0 through 1.5.8. The server processes user-controlled embedding function configuration before authentication checks, letting an attacker send a crafted collection-creation request referencing a malicious HuggingFace model with trust_remote_code enabled to force arbitrary Python code execution pre-auth. Discovered by researcher Azraelxuemo and later HiddenLayer (dubbed "ChromaToast Served Pre-Auth"); Shodan-based scanning found roughly 73% of internet-exposed ChromaDB instances still vulnerable, with fixes shipped in 1.5.9.

Orca Security: CVE-2026-9082Orca Security breaks down CVE-2026-9082, a critical unauthenticated SQL injection in Drupal core's database abstraction API affecting PostgreSQL-backed sites running versions 8.9.0 through 11.3.9. The flaw stems from insufficient query sanitization and can lead to full data exposure, privilege escalation, and in some configurations remote code execution; Drupal has shipped patched releases (e.g. 11.3.10, 10.6.9) and MySQL/MariaDB sites are unaffected by the SQLi itself but should still update for bundled Symfony/Twig fixes.

Socket: Packagist Urges Immediate Composer Update After GitHub Actions Token LeakPackagist disclosed that Composer versions prior to 2.9.8, 2.2.28 LTS, and 1.10.28 could leak full GitHub Actions GITHUB_TOKEN and GitHub App installation token values into CI logs when a token failed Composer's outdated validation regex, triggered by GitHub's since-rolled-back rollout of a new hyphenated token format. Common setups like shivammathur/setup-php that auto-register GITHUB_TOKEN into Composer's global auth.json are called out as at risk, and teams are urged to update Composer immediately and audit Actions logs for exposed credentials.

Socket: Critical vm2 Sandbox EscapeSocket disclosed that a critical sandbox escape in vm2 (GHSA-ffh4-j6h5-pg66, CVE-2026-26956), which lets attacker-controlled JavaScript passed to VM.run() escape isolation and execute arbitrary OS commands via WebAssembly.JSTag, affects far more than the officially listed vm2 3.10.4/Node 25 scope. Socket's testing showed 66 vm2 releases from 0.2.2 through 3.10.4 are exploitable on Node.js 24.15.0, and any Node runtime exposing WebAssembly.JSTag is vulnerable, meaning downstream SCA/scanner tools using the narrower advisory data would miss real exposure. Socket is releasing free Certified Patches (via `socket patch add`) for the issue alongside upgrade guidance to vm2 3.10.5+.

Critical Buffer Overflow Vulnerability in PAN-OS Exploited in-the-Wild | Wiz BlogWiz details CVE-2026-0300, a CVSS 9.3 buffer overflow in PAN-OS's User-ID Authentication Portal (Captive Portal, ports 6081/6082) that lets unauthenticated attackers trigger an out-of-bounds write and achieve remote code execution with root privileges. Palo Alto Networks has confirmed limited in-the-wild exploitation against internet-exposed instances; Wiz reports 7% of environments have publicly exposed PAN-OS and Shodan shows 67 exposed servers on port 6081. Guidance includes patching once fixes ship, restricting the Authentication Portal to trusted networks, and disabling it if unused.
wiz.ioadvisoryAdded 5 Sep 2026, published 6 May 2026π‘οΈ Security- MCP TypeScript SDK Cross-Client Data Leak (CVE-2026-25536)
CVE-2026-25536 is a cross-client data leak in the official MCP TypeScript SDK (v1.10.0-1.25.3, CVSS 7.1): when a single McpServer instance reuses a StreamableHTTPServerTransport across multiple concurrent client connections, a race condition in the response multiplexing logic can route one client's tool results, resource content, or errors to a different client. This breaks tenant isolation in multi-user MCP server deployments, a common production pattern, potentially exposing sensitive API responses, file contents, or database query results across security boundaries. Fixed in SDK v1.26.0; recommended mitigations include upgrading, using per-client McpServer instances, and adding client-side response correlation checks.

CVE-2026-23744 describes an unauthenticated remote code execution vulnerability in MCPJam Inspector (versions β€1.4.2), a debugging/testing tool for MCP servers. The tool's HTTP server binds to 0.0.0.0 by default and exposes a server-management endpoint with no authentication, letting any network-adjacent (or internet-facing) attacker install a malicious MCP server and execute arbitrary code on the developer's host with no user interaction, CVSS 9.8. Fixed in v1.4.3, which restricts the bind address and adds endpoint authentication.
vulnerablemcp.infoadvisoryAdded 30 Sep 2026, published 1 Feb 2026π‘οΈ Security - CVE-2026-21852 β Claude Code Information Disclosure (pre-trust config injection leaks API keys)
CVE-2026-21852 describes a flaw in Claude Code versions prior to 2.0.65 where a malicious repository's settings file can override ANTHROPIC_BASE_URL and have it applied during project load before the user sees or accepts the trust-confirmation prompt, causing the user's Anthropic API key to be sent to an attacker-controlled endpoint. The root cause is an initialization-order bug (CWE-522, insufficiently protected credentials) where untrusted repo config is parsed and acted on ahead of trust verification; Anthropic fixed it in 2.0.65 by moving trust checks before config processing. Mitigations include updating, rotating exposed keys, and avoiding opening unfamiliar repos until patched.
