Don't Lose the Thread: Empowering Long-Horizon LLM Agents with Cognitive Resource Self-AllocationCORAL (Cognitive Resource Self-Allocation) is an agent-callable working-memory toolset that lets an LLM agent checkpoint task progress and verified facts, then reset its cluttered context and resume from a clean state. A Multi-episode Agentic Reinforced Policy Optimization algorithm trains the checkpointing. With an 8B model it reaches 42.8% average accuracy on GAIA, uses 6-7x fewer input tokens than a ReAct agent, and adds 8.0 points to a proprietary agent on BrowseComp.

MAServeBench: Benchmarking Multi-Agent LLM Serving Systems with Hierarchical Collaboration WorkloadsMAServeBench is a benchmark that treats multi-agent collaboration as a configurable dimension of LLM serving workloads. Its composable stages model how agents coordinate and exchange context in documented multi-agent workflows, and Hierarchical Semantic Traces record operations and dependencies for reproducible comparisons. Task-linked measurements tie workloads to GPU/NPU behavior, showing serving efficiency does not always mean timely task completion. Code is released.

Paper by Yi Ouyang, Wei Wei and Zheng Xu on the minimum degree of an isogeny from a supersingular elliptic curve E to its Frobenius conjugate E^(p). It bounds the probability that this degree is smooth, which makes Wesolowski's p^(1/3+o(1)) attack on the supersingular endomorphism ring problem unconditional. It also gives a uniform asymptotic formula, with Dirichlet L-values in the main term, for the probability that a connection isogeny of degree n exists.

Know, then Draw: A New Learning Paradigm for Visual GenerationKnow, then Draw is a learning paradigm for visual generation that uses autoregressive pretraining to acquire semantic knowledge and diffusion post-training for high-fidelity rendering. Controlled comparisons find autoregression the stronger pretraining objective, and semantic quality matters more than AR-only generation quality. This motivates a purely semantic tokenizer trained with language supervision only. A 3B text-to-image model trained in 6,600 H100 GPU-hours scores 86 on GenEval and 87 on DPG-Bench.

As the Story Unfolds: Watching a Film and Identifying Characters as a Human DoesThis paper defines a character naming task for films: given a name spoken in dialogue and its video context, the model must pick which visible character bears that name. It provides a dataset with annotations for character naming and first appearances, a video-and-dialogue model, and a comparison with proprietary multimodal LLMs. It also proposes a progressive framework that builds a character bank as the film plays, without cast lists or actor photographs.

Radical isogenies on every modelRadical isogenies on every model is an IACR ePrint paper by Thomas Decru (October 2026). It gives radical isogeny steps of every odd degree N directly on short Weierstrass, Montgomery, twisted Edwards, Huff, Jacobi quartic, twisted Hessian, Legendre and Jacobi intersection curves, plus Kummer lines. In Tate normal form a step drops from 12.5N to 10N multiplications. Montgomery and twisted Edwards curves cost 10.5N+O(1) per step and 2N to push a point. All algorithms are inversion-free, with exact operation counts.

SentryBench: A Cost-Sensitive Benchmark for Adversarial Robustness of Tool-Using LLM Agents in Public-Safety DeploymentsSentryBench is a benchmark for tool-using LLM agents in public-safety deployments. It scores attack success, over-refusal (missing a real emergency) and over-reaction (unwarranted action) on a cost-sensitive frontier, using real emergency-call transcripts, disaster messages and injection payloads. Across 840 episodes on three frontier models and three defenses, refuse-more caution pushed over-refusal to 100 percent on two models, while a trust-gating wrapper gave the lowest harm.

Decision Attacks on Known-Covariance Ring-LWE via Public Gram DeterminantsAnis Bkakria's ePrint 2026/2638 gives polynomial-time decision attacks on Known-Covariance Ring-LWE (KCov-RLWE), the assumption Micciancio and Suhl introduced for simulation-secure threshold encryption. The public sample and covariance hint form a bordered Gram matrix whose determinant leaks a residual that differs between real and uniform samples. The attacks cover broad prime-modulus families at ring rank one and transfer to composite moduli with an odd prime divisor. Power-of-two moduli are not covered, and the paper does not break the full threshold-encryption scheme.

Ranking Is Not Deciding: Benchmark Shortcuts and Operating-Point Collapse in Query-Time RAG Poisoning DefensesRanking Is Not Deciding is an October 2026 arXiv paper showing that query-time RAG poisoning filters score near-perfectly because of how the poison set was built. PoisonedRAG's code prepends the target question to each passage. Removing that prefix takes RAGuard from AUROC 0.953 to 0.758 and its miss rate from 0.191 to 0.763. Task Format as a Factor in Adaptation: A Controlled Comparison of LoRA and Full Fine-Tuning for Prompt-Safety ClassificationThis paper compares LoRA and full fine-tuning for prompt-safety classification using a matched 400M encoder-decoder pair (Ettin) across three task formats, with up to 15 seeds per cell and pre-specified analyses. Full fine-tuning leads LoRA by 2-3 pp at the pre-specified learning rates, and the encoder gap closes when both use the same learning-rate search. Training LoRA to write a reason after its verdict adds 4.0 pp, while a content-free sentence of equal length does not. Trained models beat a prompted 8B in domain but trail it by 8-23 pp on adversarial jailbreaks and over-flag benign prompts (27-66% against 2-3%).

The author uses it, plus public-point and quadratic-twist attacks, to factor Reble's 1084-digit and Broadhurst's 5061-digit moduli, and shows that hidden-cofactor, withheld-CM-map and private-isogeny repairs also fail.

A staking mechanism forces attackers to train on discovered poisoned samples with flipped labels, producing counter-gradients that remove the backdoor without knowing the trigger. ZKP commitments lock the training data, which blocks adaptive attacks and gradient tampering. On CIFAR-10 under Dir(0.1) non-IID, it holds attack success rate below 6% against distributed backdoor and edge-case attacks.

Causal Chain of Thought: Mitigating Attention Leakage via Context IsolationCausalCoT is an inference framework that splits a problem into a directed acyclic graph of atomic sub-questions and evaluates each node in an isolated context holding only its direct causal parents. This removes attention paths to non-parent content, so intermediate steps drive the answer rather than leaking from global context. It keeps benchmark accuracy competitive and raises causal sensitivity of reasoning steps by 12 points on average, up to 21, over the strongest baseline. The graph also allows test-time corrections that propagate downstream.

Post-quantum commutative group actions from oriented superspecial abelian varietiesCastryck, Dina, Kutas and Lorenzon study the Shimura class group action on superspecial principally polarized abelian varieties with a CM orientation, as a post-quantum commutative group action for key exchange. They give tools to represent CM orientations through higher-dimensional isogenies and to compute the action in the restricted effective group action model. These rely on a CM version of Kani's lemma and a trick that often halves the ambient dimension. The paper also gives a method for finding oriented superspecial abelian surfaces and analyses obstructions to transitivity.

Superspecial points on Humbert surfaces and the probability of (N,N)-splittingDetermines, to first order in 1/p with an explicit error bound, the proportion of superspecial principally polarized abelian surfaces over F_p-bar (p β‘ 3 mod 4) that are optimally (N,N)-split. The expected number of optimal splittings is exactly 5NΒ·J_2(N)(p-1)/(pΒ²+1), so the split proportion is about 5NΒ·J_2(N)/p. This gives the stationary target density of the splitting-detection attack on the dimension-two superspecial isogeny problem, which was previously known only from experiments or a one-sided bound. The proofs use Siegel's mass formula and genus averages over refined Humbert invariants, and every formula was checked by exact computation at twelve primes.

On three open-weight LLMs and three datasets it reaches up to 79% ASR, beats the white-box HijackKV in 8 of 9 settings, and reaches 46% ASR in a reasoning-trace retrieval system. Thinking in Graphs: Neo4j-Backed Exploit-Chain Reasoning for LLM Penetration-Testing AgentsChainGraph is a pattern that moves exploit-chain reasoning out of the flat context window and into a Neo4j property graph. Findings, attack steps, credentials, assets and tamper-evident evidence receipts are typed nodes with pre/post-condition edges. The graph is wired to Claude Code or Codex through MCP with no custom harness. Five operator questions (next-step inference, entry-to-crown-jewel pathing, combined-severity promotion, evidence provenance, chokepoint identification) become reusable Cypher and Graph Data Science queries, plus a chain-severity score. On a synthetic multi-forest Active Directory lab modeled on GOAD, three findings rated Medium in isolation become Critical once their path to the forest root is materialized. Scoping each decision to a graph result cut the reasoning payload by about 98% on a token proxy. The authors say the results are illustrative single-run measurements, not a benchmark.
