SEAL: Sealed Queries for Local Sanitization against Indirect Prompt Injection

REALM: Identifying Minimal Task Assets for LLM Agents

PCM: A Proof-Carrying Message Protocol for Verifiable Multi-Agent Communication

Proof-Carrying Messages (PCM) is a protocol where each claim an AI agent sends carries evidence: records from an append-only Merkle log the agent cannot write, with inclusion proofs, signed by an attesting signer it cannot control. Receivers verify offline and mark each claim proven, unproven or failed. On 926 messages (712 lies in 16 classes) PCM accepted 10 lies, all stale evidence (1.4%), while plain A2A accepted all 712. Beyond the Scope of This Paper: Practical Flash-Accelerator and Cache-Collision Timing Attacks on Microcontrollers

Tractable, Not Truncated: Colored-Noise TRNG Security via Fractional Brownian Motion

This ePrint paper models oscillator-based TRNG phase noise, both white and flicker, as fractional Brownian motion. It proves a quasi-renewal property that gives closed-form worst-case min-entropy and sampling requirements, and extends spectral and Allan-variance analysis so noise parameters come from a single timing trace. Heads of Security (HoS) is a prompt injection defense that enforces instruction-data separation with learned per-head attention gates, redistributing attention between trusted and untrusted tokens. Evaluated on Llama-3.3-70B-Instruct and GPT-OSS-20B against SecAlign++ and ASIDE. The black-box RL-Hammer attack reaches 97% ASR on GPT-OSS-20B and 85% on SecAlign but 10% on HoS. It feeds the model a pre-computed module threat model, lightweight static analysis findings and call-graph data, then reads the model's internal representations with a trained probe. On PrimeVul's held-out test set with GLM-5.3-Flash it reaches 60.0% accuracy in about one second per function, matching the agentic VulTriage (59.2%) while over 250 times faster.

Reversible Pseudonymisation of Documents Sent to External LLMs: an Open Bilingual Benchmark and an Engine

Agentic AI Defense: Decode-Time Provenance Binding for MCP

PQ-Vault: Provably Quantum-Safe Asset Custody for Unmodified Ethereum

PQ-Vault is a custody design for unmodified Ethereum against quantum key recovery. It combines a quantum-safe vault contract, a proof-of-stake sidechain with compact certificates, and an optimistic dispute protocol. HAETAE on a Diet: Less Stack, Less Time on Low-End Microcontrollers

SoK: PIAtlas: Decomposing the Unbounded Prompt Injection Attack Space

PIAtlas is a taxonomy of prompt injection attacks organized by how the injected instruction subverts the model, with six mechanism classes as roots of a technique and sub-technique hierarchy. The authors release PICorpus, a license-clean collection of public prompt-injection datasets, and map thousands of records to PIAtlas under a human-verified protocol. Results show attacks combine several techniques from few mechanisms, agent benchmarks cover only part of the space, and adaptive attackers favor mechanisms that curated benchmarks underrepresent.

ToFu: Exploiting and Fuzzing the LLM–Orchestrator–Tool Trust Boundary

ToFu is a tool-aware fuzzing framework that derives semantic security checks for LLM tools (mainly MCP servers) from their metadata and a corpus of 74 CWE-guided sanitizers. It generates schema-valid Atheris harnesses, uses runtime tracers and outcome oracles to catch bugs that don't crash, and uses an LLM only to map sanitizers and seed inputs, never as the judge. It also describes a "Repeat-After-Me" attack, in which the LLM is told to repeat attacker-written text that the orchestrator then dispatches as a tool call. It was reproduced on LangGraph, MAF, ADK, AutoGen, Strands and CrewAI. On 273 MCP servers it reports 253 verified bugs across 343 tools in 118 repositories, including path traversal, log injection, exfiltration and command bypass.

Superspecial points on Humbert surfaces and the probability of (N,N)-splitting

Determines, to first order in 1/p with an explicit error bound, the proportion of superspecial principally polarized abelian surfaces over F_p-bar (p ≡ 3 mod 4) that are optimally (N,N)-split. The expected number of optimal splittings is exactly 5N·J_2(N)(p-1)/(p²+1), so the split proportion is about 5N·J_2(N)/p. This gives the stationary target density of the splitting-detection attack on the dimension-two superspecial isogeny problem, which was previously known only from experiments or a one-sided bound. The proofs use Siegel's mass formula and genus averages over refined Humbert invariants, and every formula was checked by exact computation at twelve primes.

Efficient Fixed-Point Implementation of Mitaka

Stealthy Poisoning Attacks via Reused KV Cache of Reasoning

R^2ECAP (Reused Reasoning-Cache Poisoning) is a black-box attack that plants poisoned reasoning traces through a chat interface, exploiting LLM systems that reuse KV caches of reasoning. A preceding trace steers the model, and the retained trace keeps residual adversarial influence in its cache after the preceding trace is discarded. Shorter Hash-Based Signatures via Guarded Sharing in a DAG Model

Proposes "guarded sharing", a technique that moves few-time signatures in SPHINCS-style stateless hash-based schemes from a tree model to a DAG model. My Credentials, Please: Detecting Filesystem Capability Laundering in MCP Servers at Scale

Studies "filesystem capability laundering" in MCP servers: client approval of a tool call grants the server process broad host filesystem access, so attacker-steered arguments can reach sensitive files outside the tool's declared contract. PROBE (Policy Rule Observation via Behavioral Exploration) trains LLM-based auditors that act as realistic users and probe deployed tool-using agents for policy violations (pricing, privacy, confirmation, safety) across multi-turn, tool-mediated dialogue. It formalizes auditing as a two-player Markov game with a composite reward for violation discovery, plausibility, progress and policy diversity, and compares GRPO, DPO and GFlowNet optimization. Trained auditors find broader, higher-yield violations than zero-shot adversaries, even when much smaller than the target agent, positioning behavioral auditing as a distinct axis next to capability and safety benchmarks.

Threshold Post-Quantum E-Voting from Lattice Commitments

T-EVOLVE extends the lattice-commitment e-voting protocol EVOLVE to threshold tallying. Votes are Shamir-shared, so any t of n authorities can finish the tally. Privacy holds against t-1 colluding authorities and verifiability holds even if all of them collude. The voter proves her committed shares form a Reed-Solomon codeword whose value at zero is a valid vote. Complaints about ciphertexts that do not decrypt are publicly verifiable, using an LWE-instantiable encryption scheme with publicly verifiable opening. Privacy, verifiability, individual verifiability and robustness are proven in the classical random oracle model, and the verifiability reduction is not tight. In a C implementation, a yes/no ballot for four authorities takes 109 KB, and an authority aggregates 10^4 ballots in about three minutes on one core.

Exploring Fault Injection Attacks on HQC and BIKE Beyond Fujisaki-Okamoto Verification

Reaction Attack on CKKS Deployments with Asymptotically Optimal Query Complexity

Shows a protocol-level reaction attack on CKKS homomorphic-encryption deployments that publish coefficient-to-slot (C2S) evaluation keys and let the client return a 1-bit validity response. A malicious evaluator shifts a public encryption key, uses the public C2S layer to repack it into a ciphertext whose validity depends on one secret coefficient, and recovers a ternary secret key with O(H) queries, within a factor 2/log2(3) of the entropy lower bound. Each query is re-randomized with a fresh encryption of zero to evade trivial detection. The authors implemented it end to end in Lattigo v6.2.0 and recovered full keys across four standard CKKS parameter sets. It does not break RLWE or CKKS IND-CPA security.

Approve What, Exactly? Effect Binding and Trusted Rendering for Agent Step-Up Authorization

Paper arguing that agent human-approval prompts count as a second factor only if agent compromise cannot forge them and they name exactly what is approved. It defines twelve attacks on the approval path (decoy recipients, amount cancellation, card padding, label spoofing, enrollment squatting, threshold splitting) and tests them against AP2, Microsoft's action-bound approval design and MCP elicitation. An audit of ten agent runtimes found no third-party verifiable approval record and post-approval argument changes in four of eight. The reference defense ASU (Agent Step-Up) renders the card from a canonical effect descriptor, has a phone passkey sign its digest, and executes only the stored call. It is proven in Tamarin (53 lemmas) and evaluated on 27,108 scripted trials and 609 AgentDojo pairs. The trusted card cut forged-narration attack success from 0.54 to 0.03 and raised LLM-approver catch rate from 0.30 to 0.98.

From Detection to Decision: Calibration and Deferral for Prompt-Injection Detection

Evaluates a native probabilistic decision model (Jev), Llama Prompt Guard 2 (22M and 86M) and an LLM judge on 47,611 held-out examples covering direct/indirect prompt injection, hard-benign inputs, obfuscation and distribution shift. The LLM judge has the best AUROC (0.897), followed by Jev (0.871), Prompt Guard 2 86M (0.757) and 22M (0.714). Jev's native probabilities do not consistently beat post-hoc calibrated classifier scores, and temperature scaling improves calibration but not discrimination. At a 1% false-negative-rate target, every system needs over 91.8% escalation, so probabilistic outputs alone do not give reliable security decisions under distribution shift.

INFUSE: A Unified Surface Benchmark for Indirect Prompt Injection in Agentic Systems

INFUSE is an end-to-end benchmark for indirect prompt injection (IPI) across long-horizon agent workflows (shell commands, code changes, dependency installs, remote services). A Hybrid BP-SAT Attack on MILENAGE: Combining the Complementary Strengths of Algebraic and Soft-Analytical Side-Channel Attacks

ePrint paper evaluating ASCA (SAT-based) and SASCA (belief propagation) side-channel attacks on the AES-based MILENAGE authentication algorithm in USIM cards, using neural-network leakage predictions to recover subscriber key K and operator secret OPc from a single trace. SASCA alone succeeds in 87.7% of attacks but converges to a wrong OPc in 6.1%; ASCA succeeds in only 34% within a 1-hour timeout. edaBits in the Exponent (edaBitE) and Issuer-Hiding Blind Signatures from ML-DSA and VOLE-in-the-Head

Presents the first blind signature in which the issuer runs unmodified NIST-standardized ML-DSA, so it works with certified secure elements. Issuance is an ML-DSA signature on a commitment. Nowhere Man: Device Binding for Post-Quantum Anonymous Credentials

Presents a modular device-binding protocol for post-quantum anonymous credentials. Accelerating Pollard Rho with GPU Field Arithmetic on NVIDIA Blackwell

Preprint that speeds up Pollard rho on GPUs by rebuilding field arithmetic: packed normal-basis representation, the CUDA 13.3 PTX carry-less multiply (clmad), and three-input logic instructions. On one RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell it goes from 0.85 to 14.64 billion iterations/s (17.2x) on the Certicom ECC2K-130 challenge, which puts the whole challenge under five GPU-years. The same levers give 1.52x on P-256 and 2.61x on P-384, which leaves P-256 about 6e21 card-years away. It also reports twelve GPUs from Turing to Blackwell, an FPGA engine on AWS F2 and a campaign that covered 5.4% of the expected work, with code and a Dockerfile on GitHub (rho-blackwell). It claims no improvement on the generic-group bound.

Kairos: Transactional Security Enforcement at the System Boundary for LLM Agents

Kairos is a reference monitor placed at the isolation boundary of an unmodified, opaque LLM agent, where tool calls, shell commands and agent-written scripts all appear as the same file and network operations. A declarative trust policy decides most effects deterministically and defers the rest; deferred effects are held while the agent continues speculatively, and a bounded-authority decision oracle (an LLM or a human) releases or refuses them based on the trace. Across three benchmarks and three agent models it beats existing defenses on the attack-success/utility trade-off; on AgentDojo it cuts attack success from 47.0% to 2.7% with no loss of benign utility.

Cube Attacks with Elimination Strategy: Key Recovery Attacks on Trivium

Introduces a cube-attack framework with an elimination strategy. It finds key conditions and cubes whose conditional superpolies are cheap to compute, then solves the resulting equation systems to recover key bits. Causal Awareness in End-to-End Encrypted Group Messaging

Master-Key Recovery from Internal Activation Leakage in ReLU Realizations of Camellia

The paper builds explicit ReLU neural-network realizations of Camellia-128/192/256 from exact Boolean gates, S-box selectors and bit permutations, and reports known-answer-test agreement for Camellia-128. It shows that whitening and round-key quantities leaked from internal activations determine the master key through public key-schedule identities. Under a synthetic internal-oracle model, symmetric real-valued perturbations recover subkey bits with 128 queries (Camellia-128) or 256 (Camellia-256). It also estimates spread using the Kimwolf botnet's size (~133k replicas, about 40 H100s of compute), shows notes inherited between generations improve Qwen3.5-9B's setup success (45% to 61–84%), and projects small models reaching the capability floor by end of 2026. It closes with defensive points: drive R0 below 1, and harden IoT devices.

CUTS: Chained Uniform-sum Tree Signatures

The paper analyses stateful hash-based signatures whose key is a tree of hash chains, and asks what a second signature from the same one-time key reveals after state loss or rollback. It proves that the values derivable from several signatures are exactly the union of those from each signature alone. Revisiting Witness-Succinct UC-lifting Compilers

Breaking First-Order Masked Kyber with Belief Propagation Alone

Preprint recovering the long-term key of a first-order masked Kyber768 implementation on an ARM Cortex-M4 from about 2200 decapsulation power traces using only valid ciphertexts. Chosen Ciphertext and Trapdoor Secure Public Key Authenticated Encryption with Keyword Search

Mori and Emura give a generic transformation, a variant of the CHK transformation, that upgrades a public-key authenticated encryption with keyword search (PAEKS) scheme to one secure against chosen-ciphertext and trapdoor attacks (CCTA). It works because the PAEKS receiver names the sender when generating a trapdoor, so keywords can serve as tags. Applied to Li-Boyen generic PAEKS instantiations, it yields the first fully CCTA-secure PAEKS schemes from pairings and from lattices. Verification keys embedded in ciphertexts and trapdoors also let sender-receiver matching use hash tables, so search cost no longer depends on the number of senders.

Forensic Analysis of the HackRF One with PortaPack Mayhem Firmware

Faster generic CCA secure KEM transformation using encrypt-then-MAC

KedgeFlow: A Programmable Control Plane for Enterprise AI Agents

KedgeFlow proposes language-independent contracts in which trusted controllers issue signed exact-action permissions and privileged gateways enforce them, using single-use allowance claims, target-side conditions and retained outcome records. Flying, Not Floating: Precise Fixed-Point Falcon on Embedded Processors

Presents the first fixed-point FN-DSA (Falcon) signer for microcontrollers, using 32.64 arithmetic in constant-time Cortex-M4 assembly for Falcon-512 and Falcon-1024. Techniques that keep reciprocals, inverse square roots and small constants wide and round once at the consumer restore the precision lost by naive fixed-point. Measured precision supports about 2^99.7 (Falcon-512) and 2^96.7 (Falcon-1024) signing queries per key, against about 2^61.5 and 2^58.7 for double precision and the 2^64 target. The signer needs about 45% fewer cycles than double-precision emulation, at the cost of signing RAM rising from 59n to 83n bytes. The paper also shows which implementation choices lift double-precision c-fn-dsa above 2^64, derives Falcon-1024 key-generation bounds (72.3% of keys accepted vs 8.5% with the Falcon-512 values), and gives recommendations for the fixed-point FN-DSA NIST plans.

Beyond-Birthday MAC Security for Encrypted Wegman-Carter and EWCDMD

Proves that the nonce-based MACs Encrypted Wegman-Carter (EWC) and EWCDMD (the dual of EWCDM) are unforgeable beyond the birthday bound. With an n-bit block cipher and an O(2^-n)-AXU hash, both are secure up to 2^{5n/6} MAC queries and nearly 2^n verification queries in the nonce-respecting setting. This settles an open question left by earlier birthday distinguishing attacks (Cogliati–Seurin on EWC, Nandi on EWCDMD), which never yielded forgeries. The proofs analyze forgery events directly through auxiliary experiments. The EWC proof adds conditional permutation analysis and collision multiplicity bounds with KL divergence, and the EWCDMD proof uses Hellinger distance and Fourier analysis.

Understanding Verification Vulnerabilities in Cross-chain Bridges: An Empirical Study

First systematic empirical study of Cross-chain Verification Vulnerabilities (CVVs) in bridge smart contracts, such as flawed validation of state proofs, message sender identities and signatures. From 588 audit reports across 36 bridge projects it derives 11 CVV patterns in 5 categories and builds a dataset of 830 instances across 786 contract files, mapped to reports, source versions and pattern labels. Existing tools cover few CVV patterns, and only two of four tested LLMs beat a 29.3% Macro-F1 constant baseline (best 51.2%), which motivates detectors built for cross-chain verification semantics.

RM-KLPT: Algebraic Pathfinding for Superspecial Abelian Surfaces with Maximal Real Multiplication

The paper presents RM-KLPT, an algorithm that solves the algebraic pathfinding problem in isogeny graphs of superspecial abelian surfaces with maximal real multiplication. It does this by solving a norm equation in ideals of a quaternion algebra over a real quadratic field. The authors implement it and revisit the RM-CGL hash function of Charles, Goren and Lauter. They show that if the initial surface's algebraic description is known, RM-KLPT gives a second-preimage attack on the hash. Paths are much shorter (~p^3) than with KLPT^2, because a higher-dimensional Deuring correspondence exists in the RM setting. AgentValve: Sybil-Resilient Payment Authorization for Permissionless AI Markets

AgentValve is a protocol for authorizing payments by AI agents in permissionless markets where adversaries can cheaply create Sybil identities and fake feedback to inflate provider reputation. It models reputation as finite capacity in a directed trust graph, and a smart contract atomically reserves capacity along trust paths for each admitted payment. This bounds honest agents' exposure to the capacity they extend into the adversarial region, and payment-backed capacity creation with bounded route length limits depletion attacks. A witness-commit mechanism makes on-chain route verification linear work with constant persistent state per payment. The prototype was evaluated on six months of Ethereum data and synthetic workloads with up to 10,000 Sybil identities. Exposure and depletion stayed bounded, admission cost fell by up to 40.8% against baselines, and common payments cost about $0.04–$0.21.

ReSI: Recursive Safety Improvement toward Resistant and Resilient AI

Average-Case Hardness of Lattice Problems in Special Genera of Fixed Rank

The paper proves, under GRH, a worst-case to average-case reduction inside any special genus of Hermitian lattices of fixed rank r≥2 over cyclotomic fields. KIFA: Kernel-based Integral Fault Analysis on GIFT-Family Ciphers

KIFA is an integral fault attack framework that finds balanced properties with the kernel-based miner of Hwang et al. instead of MILP. Applying Security by Design at the Point of Execution: How Governed Security Requirements Affect the Security of AI-Generated Code

SLDR: Defending Against Malicious Fine-tuning via Selective Layers Recovery and Dynamic Routing

On the Reliability of LLM-Based Vulnerability Patching Benchmarks

Retention Choices for Quantum CHAM Key Search under a Global Qubit Budget

This IACR eprint paper studies how to allocate a fixed global logical-qubit budget across parallel Grover search workers attacking 80-round and revised 112-round CHAM-128/128, choosing which intermediate round values to retain to minimize circuit depth while meeting a target key-recovery success probability. A Universal Forgery Attack on the Origami Signature Scheme from the Public Key Alone

Faster Provable Lattice Sieving with Spherical Codes

Aggarwal, Morolia, and Stephens-Davidowitz present a new lattice-sieving algorithm for μ-SVP (finding an approximate shortest nonzero vector) that combines fast nearest-neighbor subroutines from heuristic sieving with a perturbation argument that yields a formally proven correctness guarantee. Its running time, roughly 2^0.3066n under a plausible spherical-code-size assumption (and 2^0.6078n using only proven bounds), is far faster than the prior best provable algorithm (2^0.802n, Liu-Wang-Xu-Zheng 2011) and close to the best heuristic rate (~2^0.2925n), narrowing the long-standing gap between proven and heuristic lattice attack runtimes. This matters for setting conservative, defensible hardness estimates and parameter choices in lattice-based post-quantum cryptography.

Provable Subexponential Algorithms for NIST Third-Round Lattice Families

Secure Speculative Decoding for Large Language Models

This arXiv paper presents the first systematic study of security implications of speculative decoding, a technique that speeds up LLM inference using a smaller draft model to propose tokens verified by the target model. Semantic Behavioral Watermarking: Paraphrase-Robust and Forgery-Resistant Provenance for LLM Agents

RAG-PIBench: A Leakage-Aware Benchmark for Prompt-Injection Detection in Trustworthy RAG Systems

The Lattice Isomorphism Problem with Hints

K-LMS: Design, Implementation, and Evaluation of Leighton–Micali Signatures with Korean Cryptographic Primitives

CheckerBench: Can Long-Horizon Agents Synthesize Static-Analysis Checkers?

CheckerBench is an executable benchmark of 300 tasks derived from 297 CVEs across 167 repositories, 85 CWEs, and five language ecosystems, testing whether long-horizon coding agents can synthesize working static-analysis checkers from a defect specification through repeated compilation and analysis feedback. StOMR: Stateful Oblivious Message Retrieval

RAISED: Self-Distillation for Robustness to Prompt Injection in LLM Agents

On the Instantiability of the Fujisaki–Okamoto Transform for Trapdoor Functions

Comparative Evaluation of Open-Source Gröbner Basis Implementations for Small-Scale AES Polynomial Systems over GF(2)

This IACR ePrint paper benchmarks 20 open-source Gröbner basis implementations against the proprietary Magma system on polynomial systems derived from small-scale AES over GF(2), using Easy/Medium/Hard difficulty tiers with ten instances each.
